Project 365/Frisco Family Photographer
Oh my goodness, we have entered into 2018. I don't know about you but I am still pinching myself that Christmas is over (sad face here) and the new year has begun! Happy New Year would be the proper thing to say right about now, and I pray immeasurable blessing on you for the new year. If you had a year like I had you may be shaking your head and feeling very grateful it is finally over and that fresh new start can begin.
So one of the new starts I have decided to take on is to start a Project 365, that's what most call it but basically it is a commitment to take a photo every day for 365 days. While the idea of daily photography sounds deceptively simple, such a project can push and stretch you, and your photography. We are only on day 6 and I already found myself getting behind, trying to remember to bring my camera along with me everywhere I go is a new concept for me.
My understanding is that it helps to make you more aware. noticing much more: the way the shadows on the wall change with the hours, or the tiny details of fallen leaf, the inside of a flower and just the small differences in each day. People also share that it pushes you out of your comfort zone and forces you to engage with other types and styles of photography.
I am excited and a bit nervous but am looking forward to all of the things listed here as well as the thought of having a visual diary for the year. It shall be interesting, probably not always pretty but I have sealed the deal now that I have shared it with ya' all.
I will be posting many of my photos, but probably not everyday...unless its been a good week, lol. I hope you enjoy, and maybe I inspired you to join me, you don't need a fancy camera...everyone has one they carry around everyday. Let me know if you do, we can encourage each other along the way.
Here are a few from my first few days.
